A regular bus stop has turned into a vending machine where funny mascots have settled. You approach the screen, press a button, and receive your gift. What possibly could go wrong?
Each character has a unique rig. A 2D face, on which a set of 20-30 emotions are switched using separate sets of sequences. For VFX we used physical simulations in Houdini, combining them with manual animation, so that it would appear to viewers that everything was actually happening inside the screen.
